Hi, I am Sarah Morris.

Like most photographers, I started my story in high school yearbook. I was given a school issued camera, told to go to a soccer game, and ran with it. I loved being able to capture every moment, good and bad, digitally.

My parents bought me my first camera for my birthday one year. It was a Nikon d3200.

From there, I decided it’d be fun to shoot some friends. I offered to shoot some friends from school for their senior pictures. Thank you for letting me capture this stage in your life! This is truly where my photography business started.

Coming to college, I messed around with more artistic shots in the city. I went to school in the heart of Tampa, so I got the chance to collaborate with some cool individuals.

Transferring to Florida State University opened a whole new door for me: grad photos. From here, I began shooting grads for as cheap as $50 for 3 hours. I wasn’t confident in my ability at all, and didn’t think I was worthy enough to charge people for my time.

I began to experiment a little more with Lightroom and Lightroom Classic, and invest in some new gear. I bought my sigma 35mm lens which has become my go to.

I began to expand my business and booked over 30 grads each semester. I became a photographer for a local bookstore in Tallahaseee, where friends were kind enough to model a shirt when I said “go put this on and let me take a picture of you”

I made the switch to mirrorless, and bought my second ever camera body, the Nikon z-5. I have never felt more confident in my work than now. I started shooting more portirets, couples, and brides.

I am constantly learning, evolving, and soaking up as much knowledge as I can from other photographers and educators.

Thank you all for the continued support through my journey. Whether you were a paying client, friend who modeled for me when I asked, someone who referred me, or just a supporter of my business, thank you.
